Thus Endeth the Series
I am both happy and sad to have completed the Harry Potter books. I really enjoyed the final one: it was filled with heart-pounding adventure, and all the questions were answered (though mostly in the last few chapters, after a huge build-up!). There are sad parts, and happy parts, and the ending is appropriate and satisfying. It's been a fun journey with Harry and his friends!

Joffre and I felt the end was a bit rushed. Did you think so? It was good, though.
The action did accelerate in the last few chapters. There were parts I wished she had expanded and spent more time on, like the battle for Hogwarts. On the other hand, there was an appropriate contrast between the trio's uncertain hunt for horcruxes, and then, once all the pieces had fallen into place, the destined battle which arrived with the speed of inevitability.
